Refunds and cancellation

Cancelling

Cancel whenever you like, from Settings → Billing. No email, no retention call, no notice period.

Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that the account moves to the free plan.

Nothing is deleted when you move down. Monitors above the free limit stop being checked and their history stays where it is. If you subscribe again, they start again — you choose which run in the meantime, and re-subscribing restores the rest.

Refunds

Consumers in the EU have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. If you are buying as an individual rather than for a business, write to office@apostrof.ro within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full.

Because the service starts immediately, we ask you to confirm at checkout that you want it to. If you then withdraw within the 14 days, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the days you actually used — that is what the law allows, and in practice we do not usually bother.

Business customers have no statutory withdrawal right. We still refund the current period in full if you ask within 14 days of a payment and have barely used it, and we will always refund a payment that was genuinely a mistake — a renewal you meant to cancel, a duplicate charge, a plan you were billed for by our error. Write to office@apostrof.ro and tell us what happened.

What we do not refund as a matter of course is an unused part of a period you deliberately bought. Cancel before it renews and there is nothing to refund.

Failed payments

If a payment fails we email you and keep monitoring for a grace period. Stripe retries the card over the following days.

If it never goes through, the account moves to the free plan when the grace period ends. Monitors above the free limit stop; nothing is deleted, and updating the card puts it all back.

Yearly plans

A yearly plan is twelve months bought at ten months' price. Cancelling part-way through does not produce a pro-rata refund of the remainder — the discount is what you got in exchange for committing to the year.

The 14-day withdrawal right above still applies to the first payment, and the mistake-and-error cases above still apply throughout.

Free plan

The free plan is free. There is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund. It is not a trial that expires.

How refunds are paid

To the card that was charged, through Stripe, usually within five to ten working days depending on your bank. We do not refund to a different card or by bank transfer.

Where a fiscal invoice has already been issued for the payment, we issue a corresponding credit note.
